On April 24th, Frida Escobedo participated in The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York as part of the institution’s first public event in Spanish, dedicated to promoting and disseminating Hispanic cultures.
The conversation, titled Our New York, focused on her trajectory and the cultural references that have informed her practice between Mexico and New York, as well as on the future project, the Oscar L. Tang and H.M. Agnes Hsu-Tang Wing for modern and contemporary art.
The session continued with a conversation with architect, curator, and academic Laura González Fierro.
