On October 14, 2025, Norman Foster and the Tessa Jowell Foundation raised £450,000 to advance the Foundation’s work across the UK.

In 2024, Foster invited nine of the world’s leading architects, including Frida Escobedo, to design unique, collectible birdhouses symbolizing hope and sanctuary. These creations were auctioned at Christie’s, as part of its new contemporary art collection, celebrating creativity, generosity, and the enduring legacy of Tessa Jowell.
